Big news from the lab!
The Image Database is growing...
this time, we’re heading for saltier waters

New Additions: Black Drum & Spotted Seatrout

The first marine species to join the database are Black Drum and Spotted Seatrout.
These specimens were collected off the coast of Georgia and come from tagging and monitoring programs. For each species, you’ll find high-quality images of thin-sectioned sagittal otoliths.

Help us Keep the Momentum

If you work with known-age marine species through captive studies, tag-return programs, or historical datasets, we’d love to collaborate!
